A Mersea edition was launched in April, and the Maldon and Tiptree editions make up the two Newsround titles now being published. The concept of the Newsround is to produce a high quality full colour magazine each month, to be delivered to your door, and available through many village outlets free of charge, in a handy A4 size format, packed with interesting features, events, local news and gossip.
Advertising is important to us because it offers services to our readers. However it is our aim to make sure that it does not become an advertising free-sheet full of just adverts with no nteraction with the community like some of the magazines which we see delivered through our doors each month. We welcome your opinions, your views, and news of forthcoming events from individuals, clubs or societies to keep our community informed.

A well-known figure on the Country Music scene, and a BBC Radio Suffolk presenter - radio fans will recognise his dulcet tones at the end of the phone, but we cannot promise he will sing for you! |

DENISE LEWIS Following a long career in travel and sales, Denise joined a local magazine and publishing company. She then joined Brian, to form the partnership of Mersea Publications. An Mersea islander for thirty two years, she has many associations with island life and its local community through her family and friends. |
